ARP Main Stud Kits

arp stud kits-webIndustry leading fastener manufacturer ARP has recently released a dozen main stud kits for OEM and aftermarket applications, as well as high performance main bolt kits. Notable among these are kits for the new Dart LS Next block, as well as Dart SHP small block Chevy and Ford engines.

ARP’s Pro Series studs and bolts are manufactured from 8740 chrome-moly steel and heat-treated in-house to a nominal tensile strength of 200,000 psi. The studs are centerless ground and thread-rolled after heat-treating—which adds substantially to their fatigue resistance. High strength ARP main studs and bolts provide increased clamping force, and help prevent crankshaft flex and fretting.

The main stud kits come with precision parallel-ground washers and chrome-moly nuts. A packet of ARP Ultra-Torque fastener lubricant is also included. All ARP fasteners are manufactured in-house to stringent AS9100 and ISO-9001 quality control standards.
