Liqui Moly’s Diesel Particulate Filter Protector

This fuel additive protects diesel particulate filters from clogging up prematurely. This happens particularly when cars are used for frequent short trips. With LIQUI MOLY's Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner workshops can free up the filter quickly, simply and effectively.

DPF_Protect_can_160_75Liqui Moly presents its DPF Protector, which is now being introduced in North America. This fuel additive protects diesel particulate filters from clogging up prematurely. This happens particularly when cars are used for frequent short trips. The filter does not reach the temperature required to start automatic regeneration and thus convert the soot in the filter to ash. This soot then clogs the filter, and, with a clogged filter, the car no longer runs. Liqui Moly DPF Protector reduces the minimum temperature the filter requires for automatic regeneration by more than 200°F. This allows the filter to regenerate even during short trips and remain free. Simply pour DPF Protector into the fuel tank.

If the filter is already clogged, Liqui Moly’s Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner can help. With it, workshops can free up the filter quickly, simply and effectively. This process only requires putting the car on the lift; it is not even necessary to remove the filter. The entire cleaning procedure requires only 30 to 60 minutes. At the last AAPEX, LIQUI MOLY’s Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner received AIA’s award for the “Best New Product for Import Cars”.
