Robert G. (Bob) McGraw, CEO of AER Manufacturing in Carrollton, TX, was presented with the Production Engine Remanufacturers Association’s (PERA) Lifetime Achievement Award during the recent PERA Convention in Nashville, TN.

AER and McGraw joined AER in 1974 and have since been active members in the association. Current PERA President Frank Owings, of Titan Engines in Ocala, FL, presented him with a plaque in celebration of joining this very exclusive club. Nearly 150 guests celebrated during the Convention’s opening reception at the Nashville Sheraton.
Doug Kaufman, editor/publisher of Engine Builder magazine also presented a plaque commemorating the 1984 magazine article about McGraw becoming President of PERA. “Bob said he wanted to be president of PERA in order to give back to the association and to the industry. With the number of presidents that have come from AER – and are still set to lead – I think we can all agree that AER has definitely given back,” Kaufman said. “We at Engine Builder, in addition to all of PERA, thank you, Bob, for your commitment to leadership.”
