Roush Yates Performance Products announced that it has reached an agreement with SRI Performance in which SRI will now own, operate, and manage the performance parts distribution business previously owned and operated by Roush Yates Performance Products. With this new agreement, beginning January 1, 2016, SRI will operate out of two locations in Mooresville, NC. Each location will represent a distinctly different product offering.

SRI Supplies will be located at 107 Overhill Dr. (Talbert Pointe) and will continue to distribute race shop supplies; including fabrication supplies, body shop supplies and a wide range of industrial supplies. SRI Performance will be located at 122 Knob Hill Rd. (Lakeside Park) and will focus its distribution efforts in the performance parts arena. This will include chassis parts, suspension parts, street performance parts and high quality used performance parts. Additionally, SRI Performance will operate a Trackside Sales program, which will take their fully outfitted sales haulers to NASCAR sanctioned racing events all across the country.

Doug Yates stated, “Roush Yates Performance Products has been in business since 2008 supplying new and used performance products to the performance industry. We believe this agreement and consolidation of local distribution will enhance technical support, customer service and competitive pricing. It was important that we find someone who could satisfy the racers’ needs for chassis, suspension, engine, as well as street performance parts for the performance aftermarket. Greg Fornelli and the SRI Performance team will carry on the tradition that we started in 2008. This strategic realignment will allow Roush Yates Engines to focus its full attention on Ford Performance Engines out of Mooresville, NC.”

Greg Fornelli, the President of SRI stated, “The opportunity to put this deal together with Doug Yates, both a colleague and a friend, is extremely exciting.  I am very thankful to have built a successful business in the motorsports industry over the past 20 years, and I am thrilled at the opportunities that this new deal presents. Both Doug and I agree that the consolidation of the performance products distribution business in our industry will serve the racing community well.”
