Pennzoil and Quaker State Roll Out New Packaging

Pennzoil has streamlined the look of its entire portfolio of high-performing motor oil to be sold in all-yellow, quality packaging representative of the product inside. The new packaging will be out on November 1, 2016.

Pennzoil has streamlined the look of its entire portfolio of high-performing motor oil to be sold in all-yellow, quality packaging representative of the product inside. Starting November 1, 2016, consumers can expect to find the same technologically advanced formulations that they love and trust, now in high-quality, easy to find all-yellow packaging.

In addition to the color change, the new bottles will feature:

  • An improved heavy duty cap for easier opening
  • Optimized ergonomics for easy pouring and handling
  • Clear product tiering across the entire portfolio with color coded caps and labels
  • Prominent placement of viscosity grades to aid in navigation

To streamline the consumer shopping experience, Pennzoil has also added a product comparison chart to the back labels of all new multi-quart/multi-liter bottles to make it easy to select the right Pennzoil product for your vehicle.

Quaker State has also taken a new approach to its bottle’s look, simplifying it for its entire product portfolio of motor oils to be sold in all-green, quality packaging. Starting November 1, 2016, the motor oil is now moving towards all-green product packaging.

In addition to being green, the new Quaker State bottles feature:

  • An improved heavy duty cap for easier opening
  • Optimized ergonomics for easy pouring and handling
  • Clear product tiering across the entire portfolio with color-coded caps and labels
  • Prominent placement of viscosity grades to aid in navigation

To streamline the consumer shopping experience, Quaker State has added a product comparison chart to the back labels of the new multi-quart bottles to make it easy to select the right Quaker State motor oil for your vehicle.
