Summit Motorsports Park has partnered with Cometic Gasket, Inc., for a multi-year and multi-level sponsorship program.

As part of the arrangement, Cometic Gasket will serve as the Title Sponsor for Summit Motorsports Park’s popular Halloween Classic presented by Harland Sharp, a week-long extravaganza featuring more than 1,300 race cars, costume contests, games, trick-or-treating, music and more. This year’s event, the 44th annual, will be Oct. 22-29.

“Summit Motorsports Park is a marquee Ohio motorsports venue and this new partnership creates important synergies between Cometic, the venue, its fans and competitors,” said Bob Gorman, Founder and CEO of Cometic Gasket. “Cometic’s automotive product offerings are rooted in drag racing so this partnership makes sense for everyone involved and also connects two great Ohio-based organizations. Those key elements make this a winning program before the first tree is even lit. I’ve known Bill Bader Jr. for years and his reputation for holding some of the finest drag racing events in the country helped make this an even more logical decision. We’re excited to jump start the sponsorship at the end of October with the Cometic Gasket Halloween Classic presented by Harland Sharp.”

Additionally, Summit Motorsports Park, which welcomes more than 500,000 people each year for sportsman and professional drag racing and is home to the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, has declared Cometic Gasket its Official Gasket and will proudly boast it through displays, signage and contingency postings for its Edelbrock Super Series.

“I’m very excited about our new marketing partnership with Cometic Gasket,” said Bill Bader, Jr., president of Summit Motorsports Park. ”They’re a top-shelf company with an extensive catalog of quality products. I cannot wait to get started.”
