Reformulated Racing OIl LIne Available in Eight Viscosities
Motul®, manufacturer of world class lubricants and pioneer of Ester technology, has announced the latest evolution of its 300V line of automotive racing oils. This new reformulation further improves engine lubrication with its advanced blend of Esters, 100% synthetic base oils and a package of innovative additives.
Today’s highly developed engines make far greater power for their displacement and this places greater demands on the engine’s oil. Knowing these demands, Motul’s R&D department developed the reformulated 300V with two important targets in mind: an increase in engine power – the main focus in competition; and increased engine reliability. The result of comprehensive development is Motul’s newest technology, Ester Core®. Used exclusively in the reformulated 300V, Ester Core provides an increase of up to seven-horsepower in comparison with that attained by rival products. Add in extremely low oil consumption and perfect engine protection even in extreme conditions, the 300V range remains the benchmark in motorsports lubricants.
The reformulated 300V line now has eight different product options. Six viscosities found previously in the line include: 0W20, 5W30, 5W40, 10W40, 15W50 and 20W60. Two new additional viscosities include: 0W15 for pure performance and 0W40 for power and optimized reliability.
Updated packaging features a redesigned 300V logo and eye-catching, easy-to-read labels. In order to guarantee product integrity, a unique three-dimensional code called Bubble Tag™ is a part of a protective foil tape placed across the cap of every 2-liter container. Bubble Tag™ provides a digital imprint to accurately trace each product from initial production to its final sale and helps to guarantee only authentic 300V racing oil is inside each 2-liter metal can. Consumers can also scan a QR code on the label using their Smartphone, or enter the number on the Motul website to confirm the integrity of this high-grade oil.
Dealers can purchase 300V in cases of 12-cans. The popular 15W50 can also be purchased in 20-liter plastic jerry-can or a 60-liter drum for use in the shop.
Dealer support materials include a comprehensive Dealer product booklet, a 4x6” foldout consumer brochure, a metal product display rack measuring nearly 6-feet in height (which can be used single or two-sided), and a 79X32” roll-up display with highly visual graphics.
In the motorsports arena, all sponsored race cars will display the new “300V” logo, to reinforce the product launch and 300V’s position as a leading race product. Motul is the Official Oil of the Pirelli World Challenge road racing series.
