NitroPlate Coats Quick Fuel Technology’s New Black Diamond Series Carburetors
Lowering Fuel Temperatures Is The Key To Maintaining Performance
There's no questioning that the world beneath the engine's hood is a hostile one. Temperatures can escalate very quickly, not only choking performance but actually injuring parts.
The carburetor is no different, as carburetors can reach a peak under-hood temperature of between 180 to 200 F. At these temperatures a carburetor's ability to deliver fuel and air wains while the chemicals passing through it can literally bake onto a carburetor, corroding it from the inside out.
Employing NitroPlate’s high performance Teflon coating on select SS-Series, Q-Series, and QFX-Series carburetors, the all-new Black Diamond Series carburetor will lower fuel temperatures by 6% for maximum power and response, but it’s impact, scratch and corrosion resistant from under-hood chemicals and harsh environments found in marine applications or coastal regions.
