GEN III/GEN IV Valve Covers from Katech Performance
Designed for General Motors’ Gen III and Gen IV engines, Katech Performance cast aluminum valve covers are not only functional, they’re a great way to add that special touch under the hood.
Incorporating a raised design, the valve covers accommodate aftermarket valvetrain components such as larger springs and rocker arms. They can be paint-matched to the car or powder-coated in a variety of popular colors including red, black, silver, blue and orange. The covers can also be personalized with an engraving.
Katech’s valve covers additionally feature breather locations and sealing gaskets to ensure a proper seal when installed. They also afford owners the option of moving the ignition coils off the covers to clean-up the appearance of the engine (an optional coil relocation kit from Katech Performance supplies all necessary hardware to mount the coils on the side of the covers). Installation is aided by positive locators that hold the assembly in place on the head.
Gen III/Gen IV valve cover kits from Katech Performance currently include:
- KAT-A2833 (wet sump)
- KAT-A3842 (wet sump, slotted for engraved insert)
- KAT-A2842 (dry sump)
- KAT-A4699 (dry sump, slotted for engraved insert)
