AAEQ Appoints Mark Moore as National Sales Director of EngineQuest (EQ)

AAEQ, parent company to EngineQuest (EQ), announces the appointment of Mark Moore as national sales director for the company’s highly specialized engine parts division.  Moore brings to this senior level position over a decade of experience in the automotive industry and 27 years of management and sales experience.

Prior to Moore’s work with EQ, he served as the accounts manager for General Truck Parts of Duncanville, Texas and previously was the general sales manager for Racing Superstore of Arlington, Texas – where he acquired an in-depth understanding of engine core parts and the engine building and rebuilding markets. While at EQ, Moore has worked to improve the company’s website and online eCommerce capabilities, assisted with trade show activity, provided training for the company’s sales staff, and helped launch EQ’s highly successful sponsorship of IMCA series racing through the Modified Wild West Tour.

Moore says, “In addition to developing new sales opportunities and developing a stronger presence with all engine builders and rebuilders, I plan to implement new customer service initiatives with new efficiencies in all aspects of the order and delivery of our extensive parts line. I will also focus on supporting our motorsports customers by attending events and expanding EQ’s technical services.”

EQ specializes in new, reclaimed, and remanufactured engine parts for most make and model vehicles, including many hard-to-find engine parts for older engines.  Moore says, “We’ve built our reputation on delivering hard-to-find and specialty engine parts. I am excited about the opportunity to broaden our reach to all engine builders from the most elite race teams to the restoration market.  We have product for every market segment.”

Scott Stolberg, AAEQ president and CEO, says, “Mark has an incredible grasp of the complexity and ever changing landscape of this division and the entire aftermarket. I feel confident in his product knowledge, people skills, and his ability to know what builders need to capitalize on opportunities to grow our engine parts division.”
