Crane ‘Pro-Curve Billet’ Distributor Line Expanded To Include Chrysler Applications
Crane’s award-winning optical trigger billet aluminum high performance distributor, called the “Pro-Curve Billet,” is now offered for Chrysler’s LA, B and RB engine families (small block and big block). These join existing units (big cap and small cap) for small and big block Chevrolet and Ford engines.

These join existing units (big cap and small cap) for small and big block Chevrolet and Ford engines.
A key feature of the “Pro-Curve Billet” distributor is the ability to choose from 27 advance curves – easily changed through external dials. This allows the user to select the optimum ignition curve for the engine/chassis combination. Of equal importance is the Pro Curve’s optical trigger, which features a stainless steel photo-chemically etched trigger disc for precise timing —accuracy within ± 0.5 degrees.
The housing is precision machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, and has a ball bearing and bushing-supported steel shaft. GM models have an adjustable sliding collar.
Most applications are offered with a choice of large or small cap designs, with all brass fittings used in the premium quality caps. Heavy-duty spring clips are used in the large cap models. A convenient mag trigger harness assures easy installation.
