Bolton Conductive Systems, LLC, the majority owner of CamLogic Technologies, LLC, has introduced a revolutionary tool for digitally degreeing the camshaft in racing and high-performance engines.

The old-fashioned degree wheel has been replaced by a new digital degree system with an electronic encoder and digital display.  This patented system enables the high-performance engine builder to degree a camshaft to one-tenth of a degree in about half the time of using a degree wheel.

Joe Malecke, director of engineering for Bolton Conductive Systems, says, “Performance and racing engine builders have long believed that the outdated degree wheel was in need of updating. The ability to degree a camshaft more accurately typically results in increased horsepower.  After extensive development work, we were able to meet the engine builders’ need for accuracy and save them time as well.”

The CamLogic Digital Degree System allows the serious engine builder to degree the camshaft in any engine type with extreme accuracy and in record time.  This translates to greater precision, more horsepower and torque, and faster engine builds; all of which affect the bottom line.  The compact design of the CamLogic enclosure allows the camshaft and timing gear to be completely accessible throughout the degreeing process.  Camshaft adjustment and removal is possible without having to disassemble the CamLogic System from the engine.
