Hastings Releases 2009 Master Piston Ring Catalog
Hastings Manufacturing Co. has
announced the release of its new 2009 Master Piston Ring Catalog.
Featuring the broadest offering of piston ring applications available
to the engine aftermarket, the Hastings 2009 Catalog includes stock oil
and compression piston rings for virtually every engine type, including
cars, trucks, motorcycles, agriculture, compressors, marine and
performance racing—gasoline or diesel—domestic and international.
Hastings 2009 Master Ring Catalog, written in English, French and
Spanish, organizes piston ring types by application, numerical set and
diameter. More than 10,000 applications are offered. Cross-reference
tables are also provided by competitor piston rings-to-Hastings piston
rings, or manufacturer’s pistons-to-Hastings piston rings. Other
information includes how-to’s on selecting the correct oversize rings
and measuring cylinder oversizes, plus tips on checking compression
ring gaps and bearing clearances.
With the last version released in 2006, the 2009 Master Piston Ring
Catalog offers a much broader selection of applications, including the
new line of Hastings Tough Guy Racing Rings for domestic and import
engines. Hastings Tough Guy Racing Rings are available in three product
groups, Claimer Cast, Premium Ductile and Steel, each serving
increasing levels of engine performance.
