R2C Performance To Reward Deery Series Winners

New IMCA sponsor to give contingency awards at each event in the Deery Brothers Summer Series

New IMCA sponsor R2C Performance Products has signed on to give contingency awards at each event in the Deery Brothers Summer Series, as well as at the conclusion of the 23rd annual tour for Late Models.

Feature winners will receive $100 in cash if they raced with an R2C-manufactured 14-inch Round High Performance Competition Series air filter, or a $50 product certificate if they raced with a different filter. All drivers are required to display two R2C Competition Series decals, available during pre-race tech, to be eligible.

Top 10 drivers in final point standings for the series all receive $100 product certificates from the Forest Park, IL, company.

“We have many customers who have raced with IMCA. The Deery Series is a pretty good way we can reach a demo graphic that is close to us and  ideal for our products,” said R2C Vice President of Sales Ed Sroka.
“These filters are the best racers will ever use, and the new program with IMCA rewards drivers who already use them as well as prospective customers.”

For several decades, he added, parent company Greenlees/UA Filter has been a leader in the design, engineering and manufacture of premium filters for use in severe duty military vehicles before expanding  into the high-performance market.

R2C’s network of dealers covers the United States and Canada, as well as Europe and most recently expanded to Australia.

Dirt late models generated the interest down under and while the class doesn’t look entirely like what race fans in the States are accustomed to, the demand for high quality under the hood is identical.

“It has always been our goal to provide products that meet if not exceed racers’ needs,” Sroka said.

"This is a nice program to add at this stage of the season and with the bulk of the Deery schedule still in front of us, it gives racers  an opportunity to put extra cash in their pocket,” IMCA Marketing  Director Kevin Yoder said. “This is a great beginning to what we hope is a multiple-year commitment from R2C Performance to support our
Late Model division."
