Mexican Manufacturer, Manufacturas Diversas to Acquire ROL's Engine Gasket Division



Manufacturas Diversas plans to operate this business in the U.S. and Canada under the name ROL Tech Inc.

 
ROL Manufacturing has announced an agreement with Manufacturas Diversas S.A. de C.V. whereby Manufacturas Diversas will acquire the assets of ROL's Engine Gasket division in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The assets to be acquired relate to manufacturing and distribution of the division. Manufacturas Diversas plans to operate this business in the U.S. and Canada under the name ROL Tech Inc.

It is expected that final documentation and court approval will be completed in the next 30 days.

ROL TECH will have its headquarters at the former ROL facility in Orlando, Fla. Several key ROL employees in the areas of sales, marketing, product development, engineering and customer service will join the new company.

Jose Luis Diaz Castillo, CEO of Manufacturas Diversas, commented, “We are excited about this deal and the opportunity for growth in the USA and Canada, as well as, improve our business in Mexico with the ROL and iSEAL brands. Our first priority is to quickly provide the financial resources necessary to improve fill rate service to our customers and then focus on other operational improvements to build a strong foundation for growth.”

Manufacturas Diversas, located in Leon Guanajuato Mexico, was founded in 1961 and is the leader in the Mexican market with the number-one market share position under the brand “DC Gaskets.” It is a vertically integrated company with technology and capability in the areas of: composite gaskets, multi layer steel, injection rubber molding, tool and die making and supplies its own packaging through a sister division.
