Gala Event to Kick Off IMIS Show
There will be a gala reception to start off the IMIS Show. Indiana Governor, Mitch Daniels, will welcome the racing industry to Indianapolis and a silent auction with the proceeds going to the Tony Stewart Foundation. IMIS Industry Reception will be held December 1, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Pre-registration has been strong, according to show officials. In it's first year, IMIS estimates over 10,000 trade professional attendees. However, there is still room for more, and IMIS registration staff is signing new people up every day.
The IMIS office has a waiting list of exhibitors for 2010. Knowing that the floor space will double next year, companies are positioning themselves to get "prime real estate" on the floor plan. However, companies that are current exhibitors get first choice based on the point system IMIS uses for seniority.
The safety conference is set, registration has been good and there are still seats available. Come see the leading experts from around the world of safety make presentations on the latest technology. This informative classroom style seminar will prove to be very impactful in terms of content and subject matter. It's a must attend for race tracks, sanctioning bodies, and racers.
While the 2009 event is only days away, IMIS has announced that 2010 IMIS will be held December 1-3, 2010.
