Heavy Duty Leak Detection Kit
Kit uses high intensity lighting to detect fluid leaks quickly, easily
Tracer Products has introduced a special leak detection kit that makes it easy for heavy duty technicians to find all fluid leaks the first time — and avoid costly comebacks.
The TP-8697HD kit features the OPTIMAX™3000 super-high intensity, blue light LED leak detection flashlight that’s 15 times brighter than standard LED lamps. Its power is comparable to super-high intensity 150W lamps and it has an inspection range of up to 20 feet (6.1 m). Powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery, the unit has a 50,000-hour service life.
Included in the kit are an 8 oz bottle of Dye-Lite® All-In-One™ concentrated oil dye that services up to 16 vehicles, an 8 oz bottle of Dye-Lite coolant dye that services up to 8 vehicles, and fluorescence-enhancing glasses. Additionally, an EZ-Ject™ A/C dye injector with hose and couplers, two EZ-Ject
universal A/C dye cartridges with co-solvent free Fluoro-Lite® dye ⎯
each ½ oz cartridge can service up to 14 vehicles ⎯ are included as well, for air conditioning service. Everything is stored in a convenient, sturdy plastic carrying case. All Tracerline® universal/POE A/C dyes have been laboratory tested and proven safe for use in hybrid vehicles.
