Rebuildable Cummins Harmonic Damper
Replacement Damper For Cummins 8.3L Allows Longer Service Intervals
ATI Performance Products has introduced its Super Damper for Cummins
8.3L ISC diesel engines. ATI p/n 917372 is made to be a direct
replacement for the stock 8.3L damper found commonly in pusher style
motor homes and service trucks. Cummins calls for the stock damper to
be replaced every 50,000 miles; replacing with the ATI Super Damper
will allow for a much longer service interval and easy rebuilding when
needed, not replacing. The Super Damper provides dampening of torsional
crankshaft vibrations through all RPM ranges. This damper comes with
laser-etched timing marks and exceeds SFI 18.1 Safety Certification.
