Bigger Breathing SBC Heads

New Head Flows 350 CFM, Maintains Common 23 Degree Intake Port Location

AFR has introduced its new SB Chevy 245cc NPP. This exciting new head flows a whopping 350 CFM while still maintaining a conventional 23 degree intake port location that accepts commonly available intake manifolds.

It shares the same valve center lines and rocker stud location as AFR's popular 227/235cc heads; however it requires a different offset shaft mount rocker and absolutely cannot use conventional stud mount rocker arms. AFR enlarges and widens the pushrod pinch area of the port allowing the airflow a more direct shot at the back of the valve.

The head uses the following components: the intake valve is 2.125˝ with a 1.600˝ exhaust valve, with AFR's standard 8mm bead lock valves and solid roller valve springs.

These heads should make easy work of a 750 HP smallblock and could make more in an optimized aggressive package. Check the AFR web site (www.airflowresearch.com) or contact one of the company's knowledgeable sales reps at 877-235-4466 for more details.
