PERA To Host ‘Engine Bearing Materials and Failure Analysis’ Webinar June 22
The production engine remanufacturers association (PERA) will host a webinar titled, ‘Engine Bearing Materials and Failure Analysis’ on Wednesday, June 22, with a presentation from King Engine Bearings.
Dr. Dmitri Kopeliovich, research and development manager for King Engine Bearings will explain the features and benefits of different bearing materials, as well as, the main causes of engine bearing failures.
Without the right material and construction, engine bearings are subject to cavitation erosion, fretting and spider webbing, extrusion, migration, cratering and overlay fatigue, all of which can lead to catastrophic failure and DNF’s for your engine customers.
