New H-Beam Connecting Rods
American Forged and Machined, Connecting Rods Offer Highest Quality Material and Workmanship
Callies has introduced a new addition to its line of Ultra connecting Rods -- the 6.125/2.100˝ H-beam for the LSx engine.
Every Ultra rod is produced from extremely clean Timken steel that is
produced to Callies' exact requirements. This proprietary steel is then
forged in Trenton, MI, before being brought into Callies' Ohio facility
for machining. Each step of the manufacturing history of every Ultra
rod is meticulously maintained by these fine American manufacturers.
Industry leading features include:
Increased Stroker Clearance for long stoke applications
Strengthening Gussets have been added around the cap screws to reduce this highly stressed area.
100% Thread engagement assures no bolt threads are left exposed in the area between the bolt thread and shank.
Specifically designed, 260Ksi Ultra Bolts with
rolled threads are installed to provide improved engagement for a more
consistent clamping load. Callies provides and recommends the use of
ARP Ultra torque lube.
