Redesigned Chevy Roller Lifters

Ultra Pro Lifters Designed Specifically for Chevy V8 Engines Relocate the Oil Passages in the Lifter Bodies

Crane Cams Ultra Pro Roller lifters have been introduced for Chevrolet 262-400 V8’s and Chevrolet 396-454-502 V8’s, with camshafts having 55mm and 60mm bearing journals

When installing large journal camshafts into Chevrolet engines that have conventional lifter oil gallery dimensions, the lifters are now positioned higher in the lifter bore, potentially causing oil distribution problems.                                                               

Crane Cams now offers a new family of exclusive Ultra Pro lifters designed specifically for these applications, relocating the oil passages in the lifter bodies for proper oil flow.

These lifters feature:

• One piece, carburized 8620 steel, surface-finished bodies
• Heat treated steel vertical locking bars attached with our Monel pin and flange assemblies
• Oil pressure fed to the wheel, and Bearing Focused Oiling to the needles and axles.
• Standard height pushrod seats.
