PRI Racing Trade Show To Attract Racers From 65 Countries
The 24th Annual PRI Trade Show being held December 1-3, in Orlando, Florida, is set to play host to 40,000 racing industry buyers from 65 countries, according to show officials. The trade only event is not open to race fans, and attendees must be part of a racing business or professional race team to be admitted.
PRI will feature the latest advances in motorsports technology for all forms of auto racing, including sports car, stock car, drag, open wheel, formula, prototype, off-road, karting and more. Approximately 1100 companies will exhibit their new product lines for the 2012 race season in 3,200 booths. The whole event takes up 700,000 square feet.
In addition to racing components and motorsports engineering solutions, the PRI Trade Show's famed Machinery Row offers race engine builders the single best place to comparison shop precision machining equipment. Over 100 manufacturers of race shop machinery have their latest machines on display and wired for live demonstrations on race engine parts.
Several major events co-locate with the PRI Trade Show in Orlando, including the Advanced Engineering Technology Conference (AETC), held November 28-30. It's the most respected and longest running technical seminar series for race engine builders.
In addition, the Red Bull Kart Fight at PRI, powered by Rotax, will feature stars from NASCAR, IndyCar, ALMS, Grand-Am, NHRA and more returning to their karting roots for one of the most unique races on the annual motorsports calendar. It will be held on the purpose-built track adjacent to the Convention Center on Thursday night, December 1.
