Jeep Supercharger
Smog Legal HO Charge-Cooled Supercharging System Fits 2010 6.1L Hemi SRT-8 Jeep Cherokee
Vortech
Engineering has introduced a smog legal high-output (HO) charge cooled
supercharging system for the 2010 6.1L Hemi SRT-8 Jeep Cherokee.
The
addition of the new V-3 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger will increase
crankshaft power form 425 up to 560HP and torque from 420 up to 510 lb.ft. at 8
PSI. on 91 octane pump gasoline.
The V-3
compressor has an advanced impeller design for ultra-high efficiency, can
support up to 775HP and features an internal oil reservoir (self-lubricated)
that does not require a connection between the engine oil pan and the
compressor gear case...no oil line.
The
integrated dual-pass air/water charge cooler utilizes a closed-loop water
cooling configuration with a stand-alone pump, tank and front mounted heat
exchanger.
Fuel
management includes high-flow Mopar fuel injectors, 2-bar Map sensor,
fuel pump voltage booster assembly and DiabloSport Predator hand-held programmer,
which controls ignition timing and fuel enrichment. A high-flow bypass valve ovides for surge-free compressor operation.
All
components needed to bolt the system to a stock vehicle are included, such as,
all necessary belts, pulleys, fasteners plus reusable high-flow air filter.
Complete, calibrated systems are smog legal in all 50-States under CARB EO #
D-213-29.
For
racing applications, Tuner systems are available which do not include fuel
management/calibration.
Systems
are offered in satin or optional polished finish. A 3-year/36,000 mile
powertrain limited warranty is available. Suggested retail price range is from
$6,399.95 to $6,638.95.
