Hose Candy Introduces Boa Heat Shrinkable Clamps
Hose Candy introduces Boa Clamps – new heat shrinkable clamps that tighten around hoses to create a leak proof seal in a variety of applications, including radiator and heater hose, air induction systems up to 3 inches, vacuum and turbo hoses, hose splicing and air ducting for race brake systems.
Made from thermoplastic heat-sensitive material, Boa Clamps shrink to conform to any shape hose and housing and are designed to solve coolant and air leakage problems in both silicone and standard rubber wall hoses. The clamps feature a smooth surface that won’t rust or corrode. In addition, they are resistant to automotive fluids including oil, antifreeze and brake fluid.
Wider than conventional clamps, Boa Clamps can be positioned over the raised bead on the end of the fitting nipple – even cast metal. They allow users to couple air induction hoses using one component, eliminating the needs for a silicone coupler and two worm gear clamps.
Boa Clamps are available in standard and heavy duty sizes for 1/4 through 3 1/8 inch I.D. hose. They come in a variety of colors, including black, blue, red, yellow and purple. Note: Colors are limited for sizes over 2-1/2 inches.
The Boa Clamps are easy to install using heat gun attachments that allow users to access hard-to-reach areas. The company’s Hose Candy clamp removal tool or a soldering iron makes them easy to remove as well.
