Wrist Pin Wire Locks Will Not Rotate in Ring Groove Even Under Extreme Conditions
We all know how difficult it is to install standard wire
locks can be difficult, especially when trying to install them on motorcycles
with the engine still in the well. Worse than that, the “C” shape wire locks
can spin in the lock groove, wearing out the groove to a point that the wrist
pin can force its way beyond the lock and cause engine failure.
KRAMM-Lox produces non-rotating wire locks for piston wrist
pins. “SURE-Lox” are able to withstand very heavy loads and high RPMs. They are
designed to directly replace standard wire locks with no additional machining
to the piston. SURE-Lox will no rotate in the lock groove even under extreme
conditions. They are available in most wrist pin sizes and dedicated installation
tools make assembly much easier without deforming tools.
