When a customer brings his own speed parts for me to use in an engine build I:
Politely inform him of our shop policy that we do not honor warranties on engine builds with customer supplied parts.
We charge a premium on the engine build for customer supplied parts and still inform customer we do not warranty engine failures with customer supplied parts.
Use them to build whatever he wants. Hey, it's his money.
