This promotion is made up of (4) four quarterly entry periods with (1) Prize drawing per quarter in which all eligible entries from the entry periods are automatically entered. Entrants may enter the Sweepstakes once each month. 2. HOW TO ENTER: To access the sweepstakes, log on to www.engine-builder.com and click on the link to the "Read for Speed" sweepstakes. To enter the sweepstakes, you must be an owner or employee of an automotive or truck machine shop or engine building facility. After agreeing to these "Official Rules," you will be asked to provide your name, the name of the shop or rebuilding facility with which you are affiliated, your title, your address, zip code, work and home telephone numbers, e-mail address and age. You will then be asked to answer a series of questions relating to the last issue of Engine Builder Magazine from the Sponsor. Answering these questions is required and must be done in order to be eligible to enter the sweepstakes. To complete your entry, click on the "Submit Entry" button. During each Sweepstakes quarterly entry period, new questions will be posted. Questions do need to be answered correctly in order to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes or win a prize. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. In case of dispute as to identity of a winner, such entry will be declared made by the registered user of the e-mail account, and if a prize is won, and such registered user is a valid entrant, the prize will be awarded to such registered user. 3. PRIZE DRAWING: One (1) Prize Winner will be selected each quarter in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the applicable period described below. To be eligible for the drawing, your electronically submitted entry must be received by 11:59 a.m. ET on the date of the quarterly drawing. Limit one entry per quarterly entry period. By participating, entrants agree to the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Winner will be notified on or about the date of the prize drawing for the Prize. 4. PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE/ODDS OF WINNING: Prize: One (1) qualified Prize winner each quarter will receive a complimentary racing course at The Mid-Ohio School. Winner will receive roundtrip air transportation to and from his or her home airport to Columbus International Airport and three nights lodging arranged by Babcox. Dates will be coordinated by winner and the Mid-Ohio School. Winner will receive a two-day "Acura High Performance Driving Course." All guests of the winner will be responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses. Winner will be responsible for ground transportation and meal expenses. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Prize is $3,500. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. Limit one prize per person or email address. Winner is solely responsible for any and all expenses relative to participation in Sweepstakes (including acceptance of prize) not specified herein. Any prize returned to Sponsor as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within fourteen (14) days after being sent will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner via random drawing from all eligible entries. Prizes are not transferable. No prize substitution or cash equivalent of prize except at Sponsor's sole discretion due to prize unavailability for any reason and only then for prize of comparable value. All entries will be declared made by the registered user of the e-mail address. 5. ELIGIBILITY: Winner must be of legal driving age in his home state and possess a valid driver's license. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: If a potential winner does not respond to notification e-mail within ten (10) days of its transmission, or should an e-mail, after up to three (3) attempts, be returned as undeliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected via random drawing from all eligible entries. The Prize Winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where legal, Publicity Release, within thirty (30) days of the date stated on the prize notification. In the event of non-compliance with these requirements, winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected. The Prize must be used, and the racing school attended, no later than one year from date of notification of prize. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to: (a) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes; or (b) earthquake, flood, fire, storm or other natural disaster, act of God, labor controversy or threat thereof, civil disturbance or commotion, disruption of the public markets, war or armed conflict (whether or not officially declared) the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate, and/or suspend the Sweepstakes and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates these official rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. In such event, the prize winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the time of such modification, cancellation, termination or suspension. By participating, entrants release Babcox, The Mid-Ohio School and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, and the employees, officers, directors and agents of any of the above organizations from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of a prize or participation in any prize-related activities.
