In Memoriam: Kevin Fitzgerald, Remanufacturing Veteran; PERA Fixture
Kevin Fitzgerald, one of the engine remanufacturing industry’s old guard, died April 12 at the age of 60. Kevin took his first and only full-time job as an inexperienced 17-year-old at Parnes Rotary Engineering rebuilding Mazda engines in December 1974, ultimately turning that job into a 43-year career.
Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts Acquired by LKQ
The business was acquired with funds from private equity investment group Apax Partners. Rhiag operates through 247 distribution centers and 10 warehouses, and serves more than 100,000 professional clients.
