Engine Pro spreads contingency awards around the country again this season, to drivers in IMCA’s Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock divisions.
A total of $6,300 in product/service certificates will be given by the Wheat Ridge, CO-based internal engine parts wholesaler group, based on regional standings in all three classes.
Top eligible drivers in all five Modified regions, both Stock Car regions and both Hobby Stock regions receive $300 product certificates, with $200 to the runners-up and $100 for third. Tenth and 20th place eligible drivers earn $50 certificates. Drivers in all three divisions must provide proof of purchase of Engine Pro products; Modified drivers are also required to display two Engine Pro decals on their race car.
Drivers accepting the most engine claims in the respective classes during the 2008 regular point season also receive complete claimer engine kits.
“There are 244 designated Engine Pro machine shops listed on the Engine Parts Group website, and doing business with any of them will make Modified, Stock Car or Hobby Stock members eligible for year end awards,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “Be sure and keep your receipts until the end of the season to set yourself up for discounted machine work next winter.”
