Federal-Mogul Announces Organizational Appointments

Federal-Mogul has announced
senior leadership changes within its finance, global purchasing,
corporate communications and investor relations staffs.

Jeff Kaminski has been appointed senior vice president and chief
financial officer. He will continue to serve as a corporate officer and
member of the Federal-Mogul Strategy Board (FMSB).

Markus Wermers has been appointed senior vice president, global
purchasing. He will also serve as a corporate officer and member of the
FMSB.

Steven Gaut has been appointed vice president, corporate
communications and government relations. He will also serve as a
corporate officer and member of the FMSB.

David Pouliot has been appointed director, investor relations.

Kaminski,
who replaces retiring G. Michael Lynch, joined Federal-Mogul in 1989.
He was most recently senior vice president, global purchasing.
Previously, he was vice president, finance, global Powertrain. He has
served in several finance and operations positions within
Federal-Mogul, including finance director, Sealing Systems; managing
director of the company’s Aftermarket subsidiary based in Australia;
international controller for the Aftermarket group; and controller,
corporate staff. Kaminski is a certified public accountant.

Wermers,
who joined Federal-Mogul in 1991, was most recently vice president,
sales and marketing, Europe, Middle East and Africa region after having
served as vice-president, sales and marketing for the company’s
Powertrain business unit. He has held various positions of increasing
responsibility, including sales director, Sealing Systems; sales
director, pistons, rings and liners and sales director, Ford account.
He began his career at Federal-Mogul as an applications engineer and
key account manager in Germany.

Gaut
joins Federal-Mogul from Delphi Corp., where he was most recently
director, communications and marketing services for the Europe, Middle
East and Africa region and global Powertrain division. He served in
roles of increasing responsibility in communications, sales, marketing
and planning while based in Europe. Previously, Gaut held various
positions within communications and human resources at General Motors
Corp. and at GM Powertrain Group and Cadillac Motor Car Division.

Pouliot,
who joined Federal-Mogul in 1985, was most recently director, corporate
development and strategic planning. He has held various positions of
increasing responsibility within Federal-Mogul including leading the
global distribution, inventory management and logistics activity within
Federal Mogul’s Aftermarket business unit. He began his career at
Federal-Mogul as an analyst in the international finance and treasury
department.
