Bob Moore, president of Bob Moore & Partners, has replaced Anne
Johnson on the SEMA Board of Directors. Johnson tendered her
resignation from the Board concurrent with accepting a position as an
outside regional sales representative with Keystone Automotive
Operations. Ed Orzetti, president and CEO of Keystone Automotive,
currently serves on the SEMA Board and SEMA bylaws prohibit
representatives from the same company holding seats on the Board at the
same time.
Moore’s career includes stints as an
advertising executive, which introduced him to the specialty-equipment
market in 1980. Moore co-founded the SEMA Business Technology Committee
with Jon Wyly, is a SEMA Ambassador and has assisted with the
association’s education initiatives.
"I am tremendously energized about the opportunity to serve on the
SEMA board," Moore says. "Having made my living in the aftermarket for
over 30 years, the idea of being able to help to shape the thought and
direction of the market’s most influential trade association is both
thrilling and humbling. I hope to use my understanding of business
technology to help SEMA members use technology to expand the sales of
our products and promote operational efficiencies. It is an idea whose
time has truly come."
