Hastings Upgrades Its Racing Piston Ring Line

Hastings Manufacturing Company, LLC, a nearly 100-year-old maker of piston rings, has improved their Tough Guy  Premium Ductile series to include Napier premium ductile iron 2nd  rings.

Hastings’  best selling Tough Guy Premium Ductile racing rings have been dramatically improved with a new offering. The 2nd-groove scraper rings are now made of premium ductile iron (like  the top ring) and come in a Napier hook-design profile. These two upgrades to  the 2nd ring provide more strength, durability, and better oil  scraping capability under high cylinder pressures and high horsepower. The  Premium Ductile series is excellent for many late model and high performance  or turbo-charged applications, and offers the best balance of performance and  price. Tough  Guy Premium  Ductile is offered with Moly or chrome coatings on the top ring.

Hastings Tough Guy Racing Rings offer higher performance and more horsepower, in  extreme engine applications. They utilize advances in design, materials and  coatings – resulting in precise oil control, reduced friction, more efficient  power generation and lighter weight. Typical applications include domestic and  foreign engine rebuilds used in circle track, drag racing, sport compacts and  tuners, boat racing, and racing motorcycles. Complete information can be found  on Hastings new racing website at www.hastingsracing.com.
