HutchBSR Racing Parts and Equipment Assets To Be Sold at Auction

HutchBSR was a major purveyor of automobile and truck racing parts and accessories in the United States.  The ownership recently decided to devote their time to other interests and have contracted with Iron Horse Auction Company, Inc. to conduct the auction.

The assets included in the auction are $2.5 million dollars plus in new racing parts, including chassis, safety, electrical, plumbing, fluids, etc from many of the most recognized manufacturers; parts bins and shelving; office equipment and a Volvo road tractor.

Earlier in the summer CV Products purchased certain assets of the former racing component supplier. CV Products said it will continue to provide trackside support at NASCAR, ARCA, IMSA and
Grand AM sports car races.
The former locations of HutchBSR in Concord
and Mooresville,
NC, will not be reopened. Instead, all sales and service of HutchBSR products will be
moved to CV Products current locations in Mooresville and
Thomasville,
NC.

The purchase will allow CV Products to continue its strategic
expansion into the racing chassis market, while continuing to supply engine
builders with quality components to a variety of motorsports markets.

Jim Zoretich, President of CV Products and Xceldyne Technologies said, “We are
pleased to be in a position to continue to service the customers’ of the former
HutchBSR businesses. This purchase of assets enables us to continue to
strengthen our position as a high quality supplier of race components to engine
builders and race teams at all levels of circle track racing, drag racing, and
the motorcycle and ATV markets. In addition, we will now be able to service the
growing road race market. We are grateful for the opportunity to service all
former HutchBSR customers.”

The auction will begin October 6, 2010 at 1 p.m. and will run until October 22, 2010 at 1 p.m.

Registration and bidding will take place on the Iron Horse Auction Company, Inc. website at www.ironhorseauction.com.

Tom McInnis of Iron Horse states, "This online auction represents the largest marketing event for auto and truck racing assets ever held in America. The brands and manufacturers included represent the best in the racing world. We expect worldwide participation for this event!"
