MAHLE Clevite Inc. Announces Renewed Commitment to NASCAR and Grassroots Racing

The three-year agreement includes both the NASCAR national series as well as the NASCAR regional and local grassroots series.

Clevite engine bearings will also remain an exclusive NASCAR Performance product – preferred by every NASCAR engine builder. Additionally, as a Prize Money & Decal (Contingency) Program sponsor, the iconic MAHLE decal will be displayed on participating racecars and racetrucks throughout NASCAR events at every level.

MAHLE also continues to present the Engine Builder of the Year award, recognizing the top engine builder in the NASCAR Sprint Cup, NASCAR Nationwide, and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Since its inception in 1984, the award spotlights the unsung heroes in NASCAR, the engine builders providing the horsepower to keep these cars and trucks competing at the highest levels.

“Everyone is familiar with the quality in all of our products, especially Clevite engine bearings, and the decades-long association with NASCAR,” said Dan Moody, President, MAHLE Clevite Inc. “What was most important to us in this new agreement is the extensive commitment across the Weekly, Touring, and Regional series.  We are very proud of our commitment to these ‘weekend warriors’ who battle every weekend on dirt and asphalt in towns across North America.”

The MAHLE Clevite involvement in grassroots racing now includes supporting the multiple NASCAR weekly short track racing Series, Sprint and Midget class levels – and on straight tracks throughout NHRA and IHRA.

“MAHLE Clevite is an integral part of the NASCAR community and we value their contributions to the NASCAR Performance family of products and contingency program support at all levels,” said Todd Armstrong, managing director, NASCAR Automotive Group. “We’re glad to have them aboard for another three years and look forward to working with them in support of their commitment to not only the national series, but in their support of the regional and touring activities as well.”
