MAHLE’S LS3/L92 4.100? stroke engine PowerPak piston assemblies are available in both high and low compression applications. They are machined from MAHLE’s exclusive stronger, lighter, low drag slipper skirt forgings. Each piston is dual coated first with a Phosphate dry film lubricant to eliminate mico-welding, then the skirts are coated with MAHLE’s proprietary Grafal cushioning, anti-friction skirt coating. Every PowerPak assembly comes complete with dual coated pistons, German steel pins, race proven round wire locks and a performance ring set.

Each LS1 billet block from Dart is completely custom machined, allowing for virtually unlimited choices in bore centerline, deck height, bore diameter, and lifter and cam options. Every billet block is machined from a solid block of ultra-lightweight, forged 6061 aerospace aluminum alloy, then heat treated with a proprietary process that results in ultimate strength and stability for extremely stressed racing engines. Mallory FireStorm Ignition Control System

Mallory FireStorm’s comprehensive system includes one of three types of ignition boxes: a multi-channel CD (capacitive discharge) box, single-channel CD box and an LS box. The LS box will run any LS platform including LS1, 2, 3, 6, 7 and LS9, offering the option to change engine types. With all the inputs and outputs of the CD boxes, the LS box is designed to work with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or aftermarket smart coils.

Valve Seat Technology Has Changed

GM is equipping the LS3 heads with high tech sintered copper-infiltrated valve seats. This is a powder metal valve seat with a copper wafer that is infiltrated into the valve seat. This allows heat to be quickly transferred. Dura-Bond has developed this technology and it is now available for the aftermarket in its “Killer Bee” valve seat line. It is initially offered for the GM LS-Series engines with more applications to come. Also available: LS-Series Cam Bearings (CH-10, CH-23 and CH-25).

LS?Shaft-Mount Roller Rocker System

T&D knows how to make the already hot LS series better with a hi-tech, adjustable 100% bolt-on shaft-mount roller rocker system that will allow for any size camshaft or other power adders. It features the same components as the full-race sets that put T&D in front, including huge bearings, roller tips and big adjusters with 12-point jam nuts. Lash settings are fully adjustable and will remain steadfast.
