Past Chairman Ivan Cregger was on hand at the APRA History Booth, which had pictures from the 1940s and 1950s as well as other association memorabilia.
Cregger, who joined APRA in the late 1940s and served as Chairman in 1983, answered questions about the people and the things that helped APRA grow from a small group of business people with a common vision to the worldwide association that it is today.
APRA President Bill Gager commented, “The members and volunteer leaders over the past 70 years had a real vision of what the rebuilding/remanufacturing industry should be, and they worked hard to make it happen. Our thanks to those pioneers who saw the need for remanufactured parts, seized the opportunity to grow as an industry and worked together to provide society with both environmentally and pocketbook friendly automotive and truck parts.”
