COMP Cams Announces $5,000 Shopping Spree

In addition to products and certificates that will be provided throughout the Hot Rod Power Tour, this year one lucky Long Hauler will be the recipient of a $5,000 COMP Performance Group shopping spree.

For the 2012 edition of the Hot Rod Power Tour, main stage sponsor COMP Cams has stepped up once more to provide a variety of prizes for both local participants and Long Haulers all week long. A nightly stage drawing is open to all participants at each stop. Individuals must simply enter their information at the CPG trailer, and then be present that evening when the winner’s name is drawn. The prizes vary each night and are made up of CPG products or certificates valued at $200-$500. The drop box will be cleared out each day, so Long Haulers must enter at each location.

Meanwhile, a limited edition 2012 Power Tour banner is up for grabs during the last night of Power Tour 2012 in Arlington, TX. Throughout the day on Friday, June 8th, both Long Haulers and local participants will be eligible to fill out entry blanks at the CPG trailer to be entered into the drawing. That night one lucky person will be selected to win the banner, signed by Long Haulers throughout the week. Once again, entrants must be in attendance to win.

Both the nightly drawings and the banner giveaway lead up to the grand finale—the awarding of the Golden Ticket Contest winner, also being drawn on Friday night. Taking place each day and open only to Long Haulers, the Golden Ticket Contest rewards individuals promoting and supporting CPG brands such as COMP Cams, TCI, FAST, ZEX, RHS, Quarter Master, Inglese and others. CPG event staff will scour the grounds at each location, and will hand out a total of 30 Golden Tickets during the week.

Then at the tour’s final stop in Arlington, each ticket holder will come on stage and place his or her ticket in the drop box. One name will be randomly drawn to win a product certificate valued at $5,000 that can be used in any way among all of the COMP Performance Group brands. Participants must be present to win, and all ticket holders must have their tickets in hand at the drawing.
