Correction: Allen Named General Manager of Joe Mondello Racing Engines

Despite Joe Mondello’s recent passing, the crew at Joe Mondello Racing Engines in Crossville, TN is committed to carrying on the legacy of their founder.

“I’m honored to have Tim as part of our team and to know that he’ll carry on ‘The Mondello Way,’” said Mary Mondello, owner of Joe Mondello Racing Engines and Mondello Tech Center. “Joe was a mentor to Tim, as he was to so many of the people that he knew throughout the years, and I know Joe would be proud today.”

Allen owned Allen Motorsports in Dallas, Texas, and has a strong background in cylinder head and port development. He has been in the industry for 34 years.

“I’m honored that Mary and her team have put their trust in me to lead the company and to carry on Joe’s legacy," said Allen. "I have been friends with Joe and Mary for 20 years, and Joe was a mentor to me for many years as well. Things have been going great so far. We have the dream team here and are progressively moving forward. We are currently in the process of setting up to do digital measuring and 5-axis machine work.”

Mondello Racing Engines specializes in engine and cylinder head development and features superior workmanship with the latest technology, including the SuperFlow NSCR 902 dyno cell.

Allen says that the Mondello Tech Center will continue teaching classes but is currently on a hiatus for a few months in order to get reorganized and pick back up where it left off.
