Prolong Super Lubricants
will host motorsports legend Shirley Muldowney and her 1977 National
Hot Rod Association (NHRA) winning Top Fuel Dragster during the 13th
annual Cruisin’ For A Cure car show. The event will take place Sept. 22 at the OCFair & Events Center in Costa Mesa, Calif.
Prolong currently sponsors Muldowney’s Top Fuel Dragster, which has been
restored by its new owners Dave and Twila Mandella. The Mandellas
utilize a variety of Prolong products in the high-horsepower dragster,
including Nitro Racing Oil, Engine Treatment, Super Heavy Duty Oil
Stabilizer and SPL100 Super Penetrating Lubricant Spray.
As a sponsor of the Cruisin’ For A Cure event, Prolong will display its
line of automotive lubricants and fuel additives in its booth, including
the new 70W and 50W Nitro Racing Oil.
Cruisin’ For A Cure is a one-day charity custom/classic car show with
more than 3,400 vehicles on display, more than 200 vendors and
exhibitors and a 1.5-mile cruise route. The non-profit California
organization raises money in support of the City of Hope, a leading
research, treatment and education center for cancer, diabetes and other
life-threatening diseases.
