The conical design accomplishes damping without wear, heat and friction, or risk from interference contact like flat dampers or interference fits.

Built for both street and race applications, the new line of conical valve springs from COMP Cams® represent a revolutionary advancement in high performance valve spring technology.

Expected to become the new standard in high performance valve spring design, COMP Cams® Conical Valve Springs feature a diameter-driven, progressive natural frequency.

The progressive natural frequency design increases the valve train RPM limit while reducing resonance concerns and decreasing dynamic spring oscillations. The result is longer spring life and the ability to run more aggressive camshafts.

The constantly decreasing diameter of the spring from bottom to top reduces active mass, thereby decreasing applied dynamic valve train forces, which translates into an increased life span for all valve train components. The design lowers horsepower losses and nets more power as well.

The conical design accomplishes damping without wear, heat and friction, or risk from interference contact like flat dampers or interference fits.

Superfinish surface processing adds even more to the lift capability and spring life without the extra mass of increasing wire size. A breakthrough in valve spring development, COMP Cams® is the very first to market with this advanced conical design.

Available individually or in full sets of 16.

LS Engine Flatout Gaskets

Flatout Gaskets LS valve cover gaskets are available in paper/silicone in 0.60″ or 0.120″ thicknesses or steel/silicone laminate in 0.50″ or 0.100″ thicknesses.

Flatout Gaskets has gone and made its valve cover gaskets for GM LS engines even better. Its new LS valve cover gaskets have a redesigned inside perimeter so they work with the factory center bolt-type valve covers. The design keeps the gasket registered on the valve cover so it won’t move around and lose the seal. That also means you can do away with the factory o-ring seal.
