ReMaTecNews Names Remanufacturer of the Year 2014

ReMaTecNews, the international news magazine for the automotive and heavy-duty remanufacturing industries, has announced the winner of its Remanufacturer of the Year Award for 2014. The winner of the remanufacturing industry’s most coveted honor is Jack Stack, founder, president and CEO of SRC Holding, Springfield, Missouri.

ReMaTecNews, the international news magazine for the automotive and heavy-duty remanufacturing industries, has announced the winner of its Remanufacturer of the Year Award for 2014. The winner of the remanufacturing industry’s most coveted honor is Jack Stack, founder, president and CEO of SRC Holding, Springfield, Missouri.

Jack Stack is renowned as author of two books – The Great Game of Business and A Stake in the Outcome -which set his belief that only by employing all the skills of all the people, regardless of their position, will a company achieve real success. Today, SRC is owned by its 1200 associates, has sales in excess of $450,000,000 and operates 31 business units, including joint ventures with John Deere, Case New Holland and Navistar. Over the years, SRC Holdings Corporation has started or acquired over 60 small and medium size businesses, creating thousands of jobs along the way.

The Award ceremony took place on Saturday, November 1, during the Opening Reception of the BigR/ReMaTecUSA 2014 remanufacturing show in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The show, a collaboration between the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) and RAI Exhibitions of The Netherlands, ran from November 1 to November 3 at the RIO All Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The mandates would require that all sales of new cars and trucks be 100% zero emissions by 2035. However, earlier mandates start in 2026, with 35% of new vehicle sales required to be zero emissions.
