If you’re looking for a fantastic way to blow two minutes and 55 seconds, look no further. A team in Germany decided they were going to have some fun with an older Porsche flat six engine. They gave it a full tear down, and they were even kind enough to clean the leaves off of it.

The engine is a 3.2 liter flat six out of a Porsche 911 Carrera. It appears to be aged substantially; or maybe it merely hasn’t been taken care of. Nonetheless, the team went through to the ostensibly painstaking task of documenting the entire tear-down via photographs.

The team’s eventual goal is to use the engine for hot rod applications. The team is apparently going to document the rest of the build in a series of future videos. For now though, we’ll have to stick with this one. And of course, the music is great.
