Royal Purple to Host Drag Racing Outperformers at NHRA World Finals

Royal Purple recently announced it will host NHRA drag racers and Royal Purple sponsored drivers Cade Poe, Sergeant Scott Graham and Tim Wilkerson in its Mobile Marketing Unit at the NHRA World Finals in Pomona, Calif., November 10-13.

Royal Purple recently announced it will host NHRA drag racers and Royal Purple sponsored drivers Cade Poe, Sergeant Scott Graham and Tim Wilkerson in its Mobile Marketing Unit at the NHRA World Finals in Pomona, Calif., November 10-13. The display, located in the NHRA Midway, will feature Poe and Graham alongside their dragsters, an autograph session with Tim Wilkerson and a meet and greet session between the three drivers celebrating their outperforming talents in keeping with Royal Purple’s standard of excellence.

Fourteen-year-old Cade Poe of Poe and Poe Racing is one of the country’s most successful Jr. Drag Racing drivers. As the first NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League driver to earn three Conference Finals/National Championships, his list of achievements includes winning the 2012 NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League 10-Year-Old National Championship, the 2013 NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League 11-Year-Old National Championship, and the 2015 NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League 13-Year-Old National Championship. With the addition of the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League 14-Year-Old Championship title in 2016, he’s built a reputation as one of the future superstars of NHRA drag racing. He will be available to fans throughout the weekend alongside his 2008 Motivational Tubing T/F Jr. Dragster.

Also appearing for Royal Purple is Sergeant Scott Graham of LASD Motorsports. In addition to drag racing, Graham is an active duty member of the Los Angeles County Sherriff’s Department with 29 years on the force, and currently works in the Narcotics division. He will be displaying his 1967 Plymouth Barracuda, “Cuda,” which produces 950 horsepower and 759 lb-ft. from a 440 c.i. Mopar engine and has recorded an 8.8 second quarter mile at 153 MPH.

These two drivers will have a meet and greet session at the Royal Purple Mobile Marketing Unit with NHRA legend, Tim Wilkerson, to talk about their careers and the sport of drag racing. Wilkerson, who is one of the top ten all-time most successful NHRA Funny Car drivers, will also host an autograph session at the Royal Purple booth. More details on these events will be be announced on Royal Purple’s social media channels.
