Radium Engineering has teamed up with Fuelab to offer a fuel surge tank specifically designed for Fuelab’s line of Prodigy in-tank power modules. Up to 720 LPH is available from a single pump.
Brushless fuel pump technology is relatively new to the market and offers several benefits over traditional brushed pumps. Higher flow rates with less power draw are the main advantage of using a brushless pump. Additionally, these pumps can be precisely speed controlled.
This Radium fuel surge tank was designed specifically for the Fuelab Prodigy brushless in-tank power modules (pumps). The Prodigy pumps may not easily adapt to a factory fuel tank, so a surge tank is an excellent alternative, with the added benefit of protection from fuel starvation.
The custom machined top cap allows the Fuelab pump to be dropped right in and seals with O-rings. Before the retaining ring is tightened down, the pump can swivel 360 degrees allowing the outlet to be pointed the best direction for the installation.
Included with the surge tank kit, is a specially machined adapter that installs into the bottom (inlet) of the Prodigy pump and allows a low profile inlet filter to be used, which is also included. The complete kit includes the surge tank, inlet adapter and inlet filter.
