Shell ROTELLA T6 Multi-Vehicle 5W-30 for Diesel and Gas Engines

Shell Lubricants has introduced Shell ROTELLA T6 Multi-Vehicle 5W-30 full synthetic, which meets the API CK-4 specification for diesel engines and the API SN specification for gasoline engines.

Shell Lubricants has introduced Shell ROTELLA T6 Multi-Vehicle 5W-30 full synthetic, which meets the API CK-4 specification for diesel engines and the API SN specification for gasoline engines. The versatile multi-vehicle oil provides a fuel economy benefit and is ideal for use in pickup trucks and vans, as well as class 6-8 heavy duty trucks.

Shell ROTELLA T6 Multi-Vehicle 5W-30 has been extensively tested in standard industry engine tests and provides excellent performance across API CK-4 and OEM tests. It provides outstanding wear, oxidation and deposit control for diesel engines. Shell ROTELLA T6 Multi-Vehicle 5W-30 also exceeds the requirements of the API SN performance category and can be used in gasoline engines recommending a 5W-30 viscosity grade.

Triple Protection Plus

Shell ROTELLA T6 Multi-Vehicle 5W-30 engine oil contains Triple Protection Plus technology which is the unique combination of advanced additive technology and synthetic base oils. Triple Protection Plus represents protection against wear, deposits, oil breakdown plus better fuel economy performance. This unique combination helps to deliver excellent equipment protection, long engine life and maintain viscosity control under high temperatures.

Shell ROTELLA T6 Multi-Vehicle 5W-30 demonstrated strong oxidation resistance in the new Volvo T-13 oxidation test, controlling harmful acid build up, preventing oil thickening and easily exceeding the API CK-4 limits for oxidation.

Confidence in cold weather

Shell ROTELLA T6 Multi-Vehicle 5W-30 Full Synthetic excels at low temperature oil flow when compared to Shell Rotella T4 Triple Protection 15W-40. Tests prove that Shell ROTELLA T6 Multi-Vehicle 5W-30 Full Synthetic oil has better cold cranking properties and low temperature pumpability at -30˚C and -35˚C respectively.

Shell ROTELLA T6 Multi-Vehicle 5W-30 meets a number of diesel and gas engine specifications including

API CK-4, API SN, ACEA E6, MB-Approval 228.51, JASO DH-2, Cummins CES 20086, Volvo VDS-4.5, Detroit Fluid Specification (DFS) 93K222, Mack EOS-4.5, and Caterpillar ECF-2/ECF-3.
