Royal Purple to Debut New Products and Unveil a GAP Racing 1967 Camaro at the 2017 SEMA Show

Royal Purple has announced it will release two new weights of its renowned XPR line of oil, including 5W-40 and 5W-40 at the 2017 SEMA show in Las Vegas, October 31 – November 3.

Royal Purple has announced it will release two new weights of its renowned XPR line of oil, including 5W-40 and 5W-40 at the 2017 SEMA show in Las Vegas, October 31 – November 3.

Royal Purple’s Extreme Performance Racing XPR line of engine oil, will now also be available in two new viscosities: 5w40 and 5w50. These new grades provide high temperature service capability and outstanding rust and corrosion protection and delivers superior performance that customers expect from Royal Purple.

Throughout the SEMA Show there will be a product expert in the Royal Purple booth available to answer any oil or additive related questions.

Additionally Royal Purple will also unveil a custom built 1967 Camaro built by GAP Racing at the Royal Purple booth (#23543) on Tuesday, October 31 at 2:00 PM. The ZL1 inspired build features a Chevrolet Performance LT4 engine, custom Baer brake calipers and HRE Wheels. While remaining stylistically a 1967 Camaro, parts have been adapted from several generations of the Camaro, including the 2018 model, for the ultimate combination of retro and modern styling. The unveiling will include interviews with Royal Purple product specialists and GAP Racing owner Tim Palazzolo. For those not attending SEMA, the reveal will be live-streamed on the Royal Purple Facebook page using Facebook Live.

There will also be three other vehicles displayed in the booth including a 1932 Ford built by Tim Strange, a 1967 Chevrolet C10 truck built by Brady Cassel and Bobby Ducote of Street Outlaws’ 1986 Ford Mustang.

Additionally, Royal Purple will host various celebrity signings throughout the show. Signings include TV personalities Katie Osborne, co-host of PowerNation TV and Heather Storm, a co-host of Velocity’s Garage Squad.
