Holley/MSD has announced the release of the 6CT Pro Circle Track Ignition, the latest iteration of MSD’s line of ignition systems for circle-track racing. Based on the design of the MSD 6CT and packed with power, the 6CT Pro provides an array of improvements and features in a fully potted housing built to withstand the demanding racing environment. A large, easy-to-read digital LED display makes it simpler than ever to see the rev-limiter setting when dialing it in using the laser-etched rotary dials on the face of the unit.

The dials set the cylinder-select for 4-, 6-, and 8-cylinder engine operation and adjust the built-in start retard, which gives you the option of 0, 10, or 20 degrees of timing retard for super-quick starts. The LED display can be used as a live tach or to display battery voltage, and rev-limiting is controlled by a microprocessor that makes it so smooth that the chassis is barely disturbed when charging into turns. A single plug-in connector makes for clean, tidy wiring, and the unit records the highest RPM your engine turned during the race, which can be recalled on the LED display and is quickly reset using an external momentary switch.
