Rare 1940s Dixon Engine

A hot rod customer of Mike Herman’s at H&H Flatheads in La Crescenta, CA, came in looking for an engine build. The customer had heads and an intake, but gave Herman free reign to do what he wanted from there. Mike built up a rare Dixon motor to add unique flare to the customer’s sleeper hot rod. In fact, it’s thought that there are only a few of these engines running in existence.
