AEM Performance Electronics, a developer and supplier of electronic control and monitoring systems for performance automotive applications has shifted to the research and development of the performance EV market segment. When dyno testing EVs, electric vehicle drivetrains output big torque at low rpm creating a need for more steady state loading capability. The company contacted Mustang Dynamometer and the suggestion was adding a second power absorber unit (PAU) to the dyno and to upgrade both new hardware and software of the controls system.

For over 45 years, Mustang Dynamometers has been a worldwide manufacturer and designer of quality, accurate testing equipment such as chassis dynamometers, engine dynos and transmission dyno systems. For more information: MustangDyne.com.
